Omg so I always heard this and I for some reason I only thought about it in context of while your in labor, not postpartum. It’s so crazy how different the nurses can be, luckily I had mostly good ones but one that was awful

I did this too. So important! 💕💕💕 I had a midwife sweep my membrane and I’ve had 3 babies so this was not my first rodeo. She was so rough she made my baby jump inside of me. Turns out she was on staff when I went into labor and scheduled for me. I had to request someone else and had to say it multiple times to be sure she wouldn’t be delivering my baby. Unsolicited Advice for new moms: ADVOCATE. Don’t be worried about inconveniencing anybody. It’s your experience and yours alone. ❤️❤️❤️
