Five years ago, I had exactly 400K followers on Instagram. I was excited, I was growing, and I was just about to close my very first brand deal. Then... I lost my Instagram account. Just like that. I lost the account, I lost the brand deal, and honestly, I was HEARTBROKEN. I remember feeling like all the work I had put into building that community had disappeared overnight. But somewhere in that heartbreak was a little bit of anger too. And I decided I wasn’t going to let it be the end of my story. I took that energy and poured it into YouTube. I kept creating. I kept learning. I kept showing up. And eventually, I found my way back to Instagram. Coming back has been one of the biggest blessings of my life. Not just because of the numbers, but because of what those numbers have allowed me to build. Today, i get to work with brands I once only dreamed of working with. I get to earn money doing something I genuinely love. I get visibility and opportunities I could have never imagined. And most importantly, I get to do all of this while still being present for my kids and my family. But beyond the brand deals, the campaigns, and the opportunities, YOU are what makes this so special. l’ve built a community here that I truly don’t joke with. A community that has laughed with me, grown with me, supported my family, celebrated my wins, encouraged me through the hard days, and stayed through every chapter. 500K isn’t just 500,000 followers to me. It represents starting over. It represents rejection. It represents heartbreak. It represents resilience. It represents trusting God and trusting the process. It represents refusing to give up.
