@brian.anderson.bfdm: 📱 Phone app asking for permission? Should you tap Allow or Don't Allow? 🔐 One of the simplest phone security and privacy habits is learning to question what an app actually needs. ☕ COFFEE WALK NOTE: Most people see an app permission request and tap Allow without giving it much thought. But you have another option. ❌ If you're unsure why an app needs access to your location, camera, microphone, or other phone features, try tapping Don't Allow. Then test the feature you wanted to use. 👀 What actually stops working? Sometimes only that feature is affected. Other parts of the app may continue working. And if you discover that the permission really is necessary, you can enable it later in your phone's Settings. The lesson isn't to deny every permission. It's to understand what you're allowing, why the app needs it, and whether the access matches what you're trying to do. 📱 Same permission. Different use. Different scope. 🛡️ MAKE YOURSELF HARD TO EXPLOIT. ☕ Today's Coffee Walk Note comes from Pae Ta San Cafe here in Bangkok. Great coffee, a peaceful canal-side view, and the perfect place for a little phone security thinking. 🇹🇭 #CyberSecurity #Privacy #TechTok #PhonePrivacy #PhoneSecurity

☕ A quick phone privacy reminder:
📱 When an app asks for permission, ask yourself: Does this access make sense for what I'm trying to do?
❌ If you're unsure, try Don't Allow and see what actually stops working.
You can enable the permission later in Settings if you need it.
🔐 Same permission. Different use. Different scope.
