I think even Jesus struggled with mental health in my opinion, mental health being the emotional state of mind. It’s important for us to lean on the Lord in those moments and he will give us strength and peace to overcome . You look beautiful btw God bless you ❤️✝️.

I felt like i was failing as a Christian because of mental health struggles, i thought we were suppose to be happy 24/7. I didnt open up to other Christians because a lot of them would just say “just let go and let God” or “the joy of the lord is suppose to be your strength” which is true but that advice doesn’t help. Then i came across Psalms 88, i found it comforting because even it showed that even biblical figures went through similar periods like the one i am going through.

It’s ok to say that you’re not ok to doing well one thing I can say is to cry to God be honest with him talk to him like a father not just a machine with fancy praying he wants a relationship not a transaction it’s ok to stop and break down Christ understands that we’re still human with emotions ❤️

I feel that. It’s so hard to vent to other Christians I fear because many will just say “well God will fix it blah blah blah” like yes I know that and I am praying but I could use some grounded mortal world advice…

Mental health issues and depression or even self unalive is not overlooked in the bible, it actually shows glimpses into these issues. Depression and losing meaning to life of purpose but then acknowledging God as the only solution the book of Ecclesiastes, desire for Unalivememt 1 Kings 17-19 (chapter 19 is where it mentions it but I suggest reading the whole story). This is comment is coming from a man who was saved from the edge of unaliving, who's dad did so and took my baby brother and his lover... and where i was saved (the same property) and surrendered my life fully to Jesus Christ my dad took his so he surrendered his hands onto Unalivememt.. its not worth the loosing the love of God, he promises an eternity without suffering and nothing buy joy and his actual physical presence.

it’s all about faith, the relationship with god is based on faith, we can’t use any materialistic things to cure ourselves mentally, even if it’s with drugs, even if u use it you’ll feel empty at the end, the faith within us is what keeps us going in the path of christ, jehova is the only way.
