Car alternators can run about 100amps at peak, but that’s at 12volts. Once you use an inverter to produce 110volts you get about 1000 usable watts for your home. Enough for a fridge or small electronics but probably not enough for an AC or furnace

My ecoflow with 400w solar panels run 2 chest fridge/ freezers with plenty of extra power to run accessories all day. No engines, no bicycle powered alternator. Which by the way isn't 60 dollars because you need one modified with permanent magnets to actually work without adding power to the windings.

also too on those electric cars they can put solar panels if they will stop putting all glass sunroof tops and put solar panels on top of that that would keep the car charged up to you

So this is very misleading!!!! I can run everything. I need the essentials on my battery for 12 to 15 hours without wasting any gas or running a generator for that amount of time when the battery gets low, it takes less than 1 gallon of fuel and 45 minutes to recharge with a generator the trade-off charge with generator use battery is significant cheaper

You couldn’t buy an alternator for a moped for $67. I remember when I was a teenager $35 for a rebuilt alternator.
