@bosupanda: Bend Oregon police chief has confirmed that there were 4 deaths and 2 others injured. Students 5,8,11 years old were shot and killed. A 25 yr old teacher also lost her life. A 7 yr old girl was transferred to OHSU hospital in critical condition. A 54 yr old teacher was shot in the hand and arm/shoulder requiring multiple surgeries. The alleged gunman was 16 yr old John Griffin ll . The alleged gunman was initially confronted by a young man in a truck when he threw his shotgun over the school fence then jumped over when he was confronted he opened fire on the young man’s truck. The alleged gunman then proceeded towards the school where he shot the glass to get into the locked school door. A community member driving by heard the gunshots and seen the alleged gunman and jumped into action he went into the school with his legal concealed carry gun and approached the 16 yr old who had went into a special education classroom where he opened fire. The alleged shooter then got into a physical altercation with one of the teachers I believe the chief of police said the armed community members reached the classroom and shot the alleged shooter several times. The 16 yr old alleged shooter succumbed to his injuries on scene. My love, prayers, and thoughts are with the families, friends, teachers, and first responders. I’m not sure the exact gofundme links but it should be fairly easy to search them on the app.
