or I go $5 at a breakfast shop like a Denny's or an IHOP I'll go 10 bucks that's my Mac just because the restaurants more expensive doesn't mean your tips should go up go around about $5 and then up there from there her plate at a dollar

The percentage rate for tipping starts at zero it has absolutely nothing to do with the amount of the check

Don't tip by %. There's no rules that say you even have to tip at all. My brother does $5 a person in his group. Him and I went to red lobster for all you can eat shrimp and we left $10. I think our bill was only alittle over a hundred though

I tip on service. My $9.99 burger combo shouldn't carry a tiny tip.

there are no rules for tipping. If you don't want to tip don't. And should never tip more than 5% or 10% max. if you are tipping. where does it end buy a car and tip the salesman 20% the cost of the car. come on....

I refuse to tip according to the cost of my meal. 5/10$ is plenty for the 1 hour max I sit at a table to eat.

Now take that $44 figure out how much time they actually spent taking your order bringing you the food refilling your drink which would be probably what maybe 7 to 10 minutes total. $44 for 7 to 10 minutes of work that is totally ridiculous.
