I actually have been doing some reading on Wangari Maathai... Especially after Trumps outburst about the Nobel Prize.... She was definitely a women who fought the fight. Kenya votes next year - we vote November this year. I too urge people to make an informative decision. What we are doing to the earth and its inhabitants is unacceptable on so many levels. Let's be the change we want to see in this world. Let's continue to be vocal and to educate.

Wangari Maathai didn’t just plant trees — she planted defiance, memory, and responsibility. She fought so that Kenya would not become a desert of regret. She fought so that leaders would never again treat forests as disposable wealth. And now, when old-growth trees — some older than the nation itself — are cut, it feels like a betrayal of her legacy. It feels like she is crying. Not because trees are being cut, but because the lesson she died teaching is being forgotten.

Kindly Kenyans, let's vote wisely 2027 even though the damage is already done for humans, plants, and the wild animal.
