Long ago when I was a stay at home mom, I almost became fluent by watching telenovelas. Of course I was walking around calling people viboras and traicioneras but when in Rome 🤷🏻♀️

My German university professor only spoke German through the whole class, with gestures to explain. I learned way more that way than with Duolingo later on.
