As of today, my money has still not been returned, and I have yet to receive the resolution I’ve been hoping and praying for. 💔 But despite everything I’ve been through, I continue to trust God, because He is my Provider. 🙏🏻 I choose to count my blessings more than my losses, focus on what I still have rather than what I’ve lost, and be grateful for the life and blessings God continues to give me. S$15,120 may be gone, but my faith, my family, my health, and the blessings I still have are worth so much more. I may not understand why this happened, but I believe God has a purpose for everything. I lost money, but I refuse to lose my faith. 🙏 Please learn from my experience. • Do not depend solely on Facebook listings and WhatsApp messages when renting a property. • Confirm the agent’s identity and registration, the landlord’s identity, and their right to lease the unit. • Check the tenancy arrangement directly with the owner or via independently obtained official details. • Exercise great caution with extra payments for alleged developer deposits, taxes, or administrative fees—particularly when an immediate refund is promised. • Avoid rushing to transfer money just because someone claims urgency. • If anything seems unusual, pause and verify before sending more money.

I’ve been receiving DMs from people sharing their own experiences with similar scams, and honestly, I couldn’t believe how many people have gone through the same thing. 😭💔 What makes me even sadder is that I barely saw anyone talking about it before this happened to me. If only I had known, I would have been more careful. Maybe many people are also afraid, embarrassed, or traumatized to share their stories, just like I was. But this is exactly why we need to speak up and spread awareness. Our experiences might help someone else avoid the same pain and loss. Please don’t be ashamed to share your story. “You’re posting yet you off your comments sections… how can people believe it’s real?” And this is exactly why I choose to keep my comments section turned off. 🙂 After everything I’ve been through, the last thing I need is unnecessary opinions, accusations, or having to prove my painful experience to people who have already decided not to believe me. I didn’t share my story to convince everyone, seek validation, or ask for anyone’s approval. I shared it because I know what happened to me, and I hope my experience can help protect others from going through the same thing. If you choose not to believe me, that’s entirely up to you. You don’t have to agree with me, but please remember that behind every story is a real person who has experienced real pain. I’ve lost S$15,120, and I’ve already gone through enough emotionally. I don’t owe everyone an explanation, nor do I need to prove my experience to strangers on the internet. I turned off my comments to protect my peace, not because I have something to hide.
