Julia :
I watched HR every day from December to about April. Since the S2 casting was announced, I haven't been able to watch S1, and I am not sure if I will watch S2. And now, every interview with Jacob annoys the living hell out of me. He comes off so arrogant and insufferable!

i am not a book purist. never have been. never will be. i even like some changes from book to adaptations more than the original books. but you never ever should change the representation of marginalised groups. i don't understand how that's even remotely controversial

the mental gymnastics people were doing to say rachel never described as fat in the books when the language used was literally how everyone describes fat people to make them seem more palatable bc theyre too scared to use the word fat. im sure justice smith will do a great job but it's so hard for me to get into him when hes the complete opposite of book harris physically. i think black harris is a brilliant idea but are there no fat black actors or what
