کھوکھلے دعوے کہیں کا نہیں چھوڑتے۔ یہ کبھی نہ چھوڑنے کا دعویٰ کرنے والے! "میں کبھی نہیں چھوڑوں گا"، یہ جملہ کتنی آسانی سے بولا جاتا ہے۔ بندہ یقین کر لیتا ہے، کیونکہ آواز میں وزن تھا، لہجے میں سچائی لگتی تھی۔ پھر وقت آتا ہے، اور وہی آواز، وہی لہجہ، سب سے مہارت سے بہانہ بنانا جانتے ہیں۔ کسی کے لیے یہ ایک میسج کا "سین" ہو کر رہ جانا ہے، کسی کے لیے "بزی ہوں" کا جواب جو دوبارہ کبھی نہیں آتا۔ مگر عمر کوئی بھی ہو، طریقہ بدلے نہ بدلے، احساس ایک ہی رہتا ہے — جو کل تک "کبھی نہیں چھوڑوں گا" کہتا تھا، آج خاموشی سے وہ راستہ بھی بھول جاتا ہے جس پر کبھی دونوں ساتھ چلتے تھے۔ عجیب بات ہے نا، جو شخص قسمیں کھاتا تھا ساتھ کی، وہی شخص الوداع کا طریقہ بھی اتنی خاموشی سے، اتنی مہارت سے جانتا تھا۔ دوست دور ہوں تو درد ہوتا ہے، رشتہ دار جدا ہوں تو شکوہ ہوتا ہے۔ مگر جسے تم نے اپنی سب سے کمزور حالت دکھائی، جسے اپنے سارے راز سونپے، جب وہی غائب ہو جائے — تب درد نہیں ہوتا، پوری ذات خالی ہو جاتی ہے۔ کیونکہ باقی رشتے باہر سے جڑے ہوتے ہیں، یہ رشتہ اندر سے جڑا ہوتا ہے، اور اندر کی چیز ٹوٹے تو مرمت آسان نہیں ہوتی۔ سب سے بڑا المیہ یہ نہیں کہ وہ چلا گیا۔ سب سے بڑا المیہ یہ ہے کہ جاتے جاتے وہ یہ بھی ثابت کر گیا کہ وہ ساری باتیں، وہ ساری یقین دہانیاں، صرف وقت کا تقاضا تھیں۔ کتنی بار سوچا کہ شاید اپنی ہی کوئی کمی رہی ہو، شاید کم بولا ہو، شاید زیادہ توقع رکھی ہو۔ پھر سمجھ آیا — کمی اپنی ذات میں نہیں، سامنے والے کی نیت میں تھی، اور نیت کتنی بھی چھپائی جائے، وقت آنے پر رویہ خود بول دیتا ہے۔ یہ جو لوگ بڑے یقین سے وعدے کرتے ہیں، یہ دراصل اپنے ہی الفاظ کے سحر میں گرفتار ہوتے ہیں، اور سامنے والے کو بھی اسی سحر میں باندھ لیتے ہیں۔ پھر حقیقت کا دن آتا ہے، اور وہی زبان جو کل "ہمیشہ" بولتی تھی، آج "حالات ایسے ہیں" بولنا سیکھ لیتی ہے۔ اب سمجھ آیا ہے — یہ دعوے کرنے والے خود کو یقین دلانے کے لیے یہ باتیں کرتے ہیں، تمہیں نہیں۔ کیونکہ جو خود اپنی وفا پر یقین رکھتا ہو، اسے روز روز قسمیں کھانے کی ضرورت نہیں پڑتی۔ وہ ثابت کرتا ہے عمل سے، برسوں کے ساتھ سے، نہ کہ زبان سے۔ سو اب جب بھی کوئی کہے "میں کبھی نہیں چھوڑوں گا"، دل میں ایک خاموش سوال جاگتا ہے — "کب تک؟" کیونکہ زندگی سکھا چکی ہے کہ سب سے بڑے دعوے اکثر سب سے چھوٹی وفا کے پیچھے چھپے ہوتے ہیں، اور وقت جلد یا بدیر، ہر دعوے کا اصل وزن تول کر دکھا ہی دیتا ہے۔ یاد رکھنا، اس میں سب شامل ہیں — دوست، رشتے دار، جاننے والے۔ مگر سب سے گہرا زخم وہی دیتا ہے جسے دل نے سب سے زیادہ اپنا سمجھا تھا، جسے زندگی کا ساتھی مان کر ہر خوشی، ہر غم بانٹا تھا۔ باقی سب جاتے ہیں تو ایک خالی جگہ چھوڑ جاتے ہیں۔ مگر وہ، جسے سب سے زیادہ چاہا تھا، جاتے جاتے یہ بھی چھین لے جاتا ہے کہ اب کسی اور کی "میں کبھی نہیں چھوڑوں گا" پر یقین کیسے کیا جائے۔ کہیں کا نہیں چھوڑتے، یہ کبھی نہ چھوڑنے کا دعویٰ کرنے والے — اور سب سے زیادہ کہیں کا نہیں چھوڑتا وہ، جسے تم نے سب سے زیادہ چاہا تھا۔
