Abby has a point about the diversity, but it had a nasty racist undertone and Holly sounds like one of those black elitist

But I think somehow Holly made it seem she is not like “black people” for they she expressed she is far a way from it, I understand Abby did make an stereotype but Holly seemed offended Nia to play one of “those”

Abby is right. people go after her for "seeing race" but they are literally the ones "seeing race" by obsessing over what nia is doing compared to the other girls.

I like the idea the leopard print is super T and you can never go wrong with a fro. What’s wrong with being cultural?

I could see how this could be an issue but I don’t think Abby meant it to be racist. Honestly think it’s better to have a darker kid play a dark kid role instead of some white kid playing a role that same role. I

it was lowkey really important to hear this dialogue as a kid. i wouldn’t have been aware of tokenism at the age i was when i first watched this without hearing holly talk about typecasting. it really is that serious
