It’s a safety thing. No one cares if you pass but within the same lane is an issue because if there is debris on the road and you swerve to miss it and don’t know someone is there that’s a problem.

No. This one is actually valid. As a rider. Don’t ever pass another bike either a sports or cruiser in the same lane. You never know if they have to make a quick change of lane to avoid and obstacle.
