this episode was just to inform about the history of a 9 to 5, not to prove they planned your weekend.. there are many shifts that we can choose to work.

They make you work 5 days a week and give you just 2 days to rest and enjoy life. You spend those 2 days trying to enjoy yourself, only to go back to work on Monday, motivated to earn money so you can enjoy the next weekend all over again. Monthly instalments, bills and mortgages keep you trapped in the cycle, making it difficult to work fewer days even if you wanted to. Basically, you work to afford a little bit of freedom, only for that freedom to last 2 days before it’s back to work again. 💯
