This is one of the worst takes I've heard in my entire life. Art and cultures are the thing that makes us humans human and they also make life worth living, without different cultures this world would've been even more dull and soulless. Also, what exactly do you understand under a "hivemind"?

How would this be possible and non-contradictory in reality. An anti-cultural organization itself is already becoming a new culture because you’re imposing a value people should organize around. Even to make sufficient progress hypothetically you’d need an ultra unquestionable dictator with international control to prevent cultural exchange, and development of new values.
