just started elvanse so only a small dose, it worked first few days, I had a taste of the quiet head for a day or 2 now its back..I hate my brain 🥺

I tapered 10% of my OCD meds for 2 weeks and expeditiously reversed that decision cos whew.

Elvanse is difficult as it’s making me anxious and then it drops off and I’m exhausted and depressed but I have asked to change to non stimulant and psychiatry uk have said I can’t and I. Will need to be referred for titration again and the waiting list is 53 weeks it’s terrible I don’t know what to do x

I came off sertraline after 5 years when I wanted to become pregnant earlier in the year because I was doing much better. In hindsight it wasn’t a great idea. Whilst happy to be pregnant my MH has plummeted now and went back on the meds 2 weeks ago - hoping I can end up where I was before

I made the fatal mistake of giving up my antidepressants without medical advice. My issue was although I was better while taking them, I could no longer feel the extreme ends of my emotions. Sadly I spiralled and my health deteriorated, it’s been years and I am awaiting an ADHD diagnosis. I also suspect Autism as well but the waiting is killing me. Life has become pure isolation, and I am about to lose everything.

I’m really struggling to get hold of medication for my adhd diagnosed daughter - it’s so hard. NHS says 12 month wait to see a nurse prescriber. And private clinic won’t accept our NHS diagnosis as report is not detailed enough. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Happened to me so many times. People ask do you notice it making a difference and I’m like “not too much tbh” but then when you come off you really notice, oh this was helping me a lot more than I thought. I think because it’s not a cure and doesn’t get rid of everything it can feel like it’s not helping as much. Also you habituate and get used to it.
