X-Files and Everybody Loves Raymond Star, Peter Boyle Passed Away Twenty Years Ago; He Would've Celebrated His 91st Birthday Today 📺🕊️ Happy heavenly birthday! 🎂 Peter Boyle became a sitcom favorite as Frank Barone in Everybody Loves Raymond, bringing gruff humor, blunt honesty, and unforgettable comic timing to the Barone family patriarch. Yet Frank was only one side of a remarkably varied career. Boyle was equally memorable as the Monster in Young Frankenstein, Wizard in Taxi Driver, and Clyde Bruckman in The X-Files, moving easily between comedy, drama, crime films, and television. Some of his memorable roles include: • Frank Barone (Everybody Loves Raymond) • The Monster (Young Frankenstein) • Wizard (Taxi Driver) • Clyde Bruckman (The X-Files) • Joe Curran (Joe) • Buck Grotowski (Monster’s Ball) • Ox Callaghan (While You Were Sleeping) • Father Time (The Santa Clause 2 / The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause) • Mr. Whittle (The Santa Clause) • Jeremiah “Old Man” Wickles (Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed) • Muta (The Cat Returns) — English voice • Moe Shrevnitz (The Shadow) • Sheppard (Outland) • Dillon (The Friends of Eddie Coyle) • Marvin Lucas (The Candidate) • Jocko Dundee (Johnny Dangerously) • Andy Mast (Hardcore) Boyle could be intimidating, hilarious, eccentric, or surprisingly tender, often bringing several of those qualities to the same performance. Happy Birthday in Heaven, Peter Boyle. Frank Barone’s humor and the many unforgettable characters you created continue to make your work a joy to revisit. 📺🕊️ #peterboyle #scoobydoo #monstersball #thexfiles - @oniichanhq
