@heatherhasplans: Dump & Bake Chicken Broccoli & Orzo Bake 🥦🧀🍗 If you love an easy, cheesy, comforting dinner, you need to try this one! INGREDIENTS: • 1½–2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs • 2 cups uncooked orzo pasta • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets • 2¼ cups chicken broth • 1 cup heavy cream • 1½ tsp salt, divided • 1 tsp black pepper, divided • 1½ tsp garlic powder, divided • 1 tsp onion powder, divided • 1 tsp paprika • 1 tsp dried oregano • 1 tsp Italian seasoning • 3 tbsp butter • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 2. In a 9x13 baking dish, combine the uncooked orzo, broccoli, chicken broth, heavy cream, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp onion powder, and Italian seasoning. 3. Season the chicken thighs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and italian seasoning 4. Place the chicken on top of the orzo mixture and add a little butter to each piece. 5. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes. 6. Check the chicken and return it to the oven if it needs additional cooking time. 7. Remove the chicken and stir 1½ cups of shredded cheddar cheese into the orzo. 8. Place the chicken back on top and sprinkle with the remaining cheddar cheese. 9. Bake uncovered for another 15–20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F and the orzo is tender. Do you have a convection oven? I’m trying to figure out why I’m like 1 hr 15 minutes in and the chicken is barely cooked 🤣🤣
