I had a miscarriage last pregnancy, and this one I’ve already gotten much farther and all I keep hearing is “just wait until you can’t sleep” or “just wait until yo use all the diapers you gotta change!” It’s like they’re trying to talk us into terminating it or something! Why are you reminding me of every miserable thing that happens in pregnancy as if I didn’t already know? If someone comes up to me and tells me they’re finally a brain surgeon, I don’t go up to them and say “just wait till you have a successful surgery but your patient still ends up dying from cancer!” Why? Cause it’s a crazy statement to make, just like negative pregnancy statements! Why can’t they say “just wait till you have you baby in your arms!” Or “just wait till your kid’s first day of school?”

i've seen two of my closest friends post quotes like "i can't be a baby momma" or something similar.. only after I was pregnant and then the term BM, im a mother and wife bye.

I have gotten really lucky. My friends and family are super supportive. My phone blows up weekly with everyone asking me how I’m feeling and how far along I am now. They hit me up more now than ever….and I always heard the opposite happens when you get pregnant.
