Hooded eyes? Your temples might be an area you’re overlooking. 👀 The temporalis is a large chewing muscle covering the sides of your skull. Its surrounding fascia connects with the connective tissues of the scalp and forehead, making the temple region part of the broader structural environment around your eyes. When you clench your jaw or hold tension in your temples, you may notice tightness extending toward your forehead and the outer eye area. And with hooded eyes, we also need to consider brow position, muscle balance, tissue mobility, and fluid accumulation around the upper eyelids. That’s why I include temporalis relaxation in my hooded-eyes routine. Improving mobility and reducing unnecessary tension around the temples may help the eye area look softer and less heavy, especially when tension contributes to its appearance. Have you tried releasing your temporalis yet? Save this technique and follow for more. 🤍
