Another important goal for me is to give each formation its own unique advantages. For example, I want to design the game's physics so that cavalry charging in a wedge formation has greater breakthrough power. The crescent formation, on the other hand, will be especially useful for archers, allowing them to surround the enemy and rain arrows down on them from multiple directions as they approach.
