I think it was premeditated. I think that she actually didn’t want to die, which is why she did it in the timeframe that she chose. She knew Patrick would be back fairly soon and could get her an ambulance. And then they could just live happily together without any of the kids that she resented. Especially since one of her first questions to Patrick was where they stood.

I think it was altruistic filicide based on the fact that she sent him away, the tight timeline meaning she had to act fast and that she had to have started planning before he left, the fact that she made the effort to call him back when she missed his call in order to deceive and make him think everything was okay, and the order and manner in which she killed them to make sure Cora didn’t see what happened to Dawson.

I believe her mental illness played a significant role in this tragedy and that she needs psychiatric treatment and care. I also believe her doctors’ role deserves close examination, including whether the different medications she was prescribed were properly monitored and whether her condition was correctly diagnosed. My heart breaks for those innocent children and everyone who loved them.

I think she just snapped & couldn’t deal w/it like a lot of parents can and have done at one time or another when kids just go wild playing/fighting &if she was truly suffering she just acted on her frustrations

As someone who has actually experienced psychosis firsthand, I think it is 100% possible she was legitimately in a psychotic episode. Most people who think that she couldn't plan/talk normally/answer the phone while in a psychotic episode simply don't understand how psychosis works. I can't and will not try to diagnose her, but I'm here to say it is possible, and there is significant precedent for mothers to enter a psychotic state and injure or kill their children.

I think she did it bc every angle I take with Patrick clears him even when I don’t take his word in account. I think she was ill but not psychotic but not sure if there’s reasonable doubt on that last part.

DO NOT CHALLANGE WHO KILLED THE KIDS, just be as generous as husband and forgive and let's turn the page because he needs to start the new life with a new woman and a new baby. Do not accept the possibility of 3rd person could have come and killed them, this would point on the husband cheatting ...keep the husband image clean. Yes we know nobody would kill her own kids to live a handicapped lifestyle and let her husband start a new life with the mistress he was having, just pretend that didn't happen. Investigation, what investigation...its already decided who did it, tell people to accept and forgive, let's turn the page alredy. If asked about investigation just change topic and insist talking about mental state not about who kiled them, that we already decided.
