My Great Dane/mastiff mix HATES to get her nails clipped… it used to be such a fight… then one day I said “Listen…” and I calmly explained to her why I needed to do this and that it wouldn’t hurt her… asked her to please give me her paw and sure enough… with a only a few hesitations… she let me cut all four paws.! They do understand.. and they just wanna know first.!!!!! 💙🤟
