Aku merasa akan lebih memuaskan kalau semua konflik itu akhirnya membuat mereka memahami cinta dengan cara yang lebih dewasa. I get it now. Mido did everything on purpose, not because she stopped loving Namgoong, but because she wanted him to be free from the guilt and burden he had been carrying for years. Their relationship was more than romantic; they had known each other for so long that they had become like family. When she realized that Namgoong was still living partly because of her, she may have felt that she didn't deserve his love, especially when she already saw herself as a failure both as a director and as a person. I think she used Taesung and their kiss as an opportunity to make Namgoong hate her, hoping that anger would finally free him from feeling responsible for her. She was willing to ruin her own image if it meant he could move on and live for himself. I'm not defending her cheating or saying what she did was right. But I think her actions came from a complicated mix of love, guilt, and self-worth. The tragedy is that she wanted to free Namgoong from his guilt, but she couldn't see that she, too, deserved to be loved without having to prove her worth.
