@heartbreak_princessss: THE DECREE REGULATING THE ENROLMENT OF MUGGLEBORN STUDENTS HAS BEEN PASSED The decree proposing regulations on the enrolment of muggleborn students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was passed following a record-breaking fifteen-minute hearing on the morning of 24 August, changing history forever. It has been reported by our anonymous source that Albus Dumbledore made considerable efforts to prevent the decree from passing; however, the committee members ultimately voted in favour of the decree. WHAT DOES THE DECREE ENTAIL? The current system is based on offering a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to every child who has demonstrated magical ability by the age of eleven. With the number of muggleborn students having increased rapidly over the past hundred years, the proportion of students from magical families has fallen to a dangerously low level, bordering on extinction. According to the decree, the percentage of muggleborn students cannot exceed 40% of the total number of students. The Ministry aims to achieve this goal by the end of five-year period by accepting only exceptionally gifted muggleborns to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A special exam will be developed to assess the child’s magical skills—for those, who will not pass the test, special measures will be introduced to suppress their magic. More details will be shared in the next couple of days. #tomione #hermionegranger #tomriddle #ao3
