@spiralstudio.com: reading human life through nature.🐹 today's lesson: the hamster and what it can teach us about having enough. i've been thinking about how easy it is to confuse, being busy with actually moving forward. more money, more success, more achievements. somehow every time we reach something we once dreamed of, we find another reason to keep running.and sometimes i wonder if we're so busy building the life we want that we forget to experience the one we already have. the hamster runs for miles without ever leaving its wheel. perhaps the lesson isn't to stop being ambitious, but to remember to look outside the wheel occasionally. there's a whole life happening beyond everything we're trying to achieve. and i don't want to be so busy becoming someone that i forget to enjoy being someone. spiral studio

I've been thinking about the remora and the shark for a video. Remoras can attach themselves to larger marine animals, gaining transportation and access to food for free. Their relationship could inspire a reflection on people who keep us close because we are useful to them, not necessarily because they value us. So, if you stopped being useful to someone, would they still have a reason to stay? Maybe, they could teach about the difference between necessity and love.
