@stalkers.canada: Richard Reid of Puslinch Township, Ontario, president of Reid Homes, was sentenced to 33 months in prison after pleading guilty in July 2026 to sexually assaulting a female employee at his home between August 2024 and January 2025. The court found that Reid exploited his authority as her employer and that there was no valid consent. Justice Deborah Austin highlighted the significant power imbalance and attributed any appearance of consent to Reid’s wilful blindness. A separate historic sexual assault charge was dropped as part of the resolution. However, Reid admitted to the facts of that assault, which became part of the court record. Reid also received a non-communication order, a mandatory DNA order and a 10-year weapons prohibition. The court reserved its decision on sex offender registration.
