If Halloween became a gift giving holiday it would be a real shame. I’m sorry, I like your content but it’s the one holiday that’s about community and centers around activities rather than gifts. In this economy a lot of people can’t afford to do both. Imagine if you had to also buy multiple $30-$40 bags of candy for the neighborhood at Xmas time when your budget is already stretched to its max? In this capitalistic society, which tradition do you think would survive? Idk I just feel like Halloween is being bastardized by consumerism and it’s sad to see.
