@msnow: As winter approaches, COVID-19 cases are already rising in most parts of the country. It leaves many questioning whether they should get an annual COVID vaccine — especially after some experts say the lack of federal guidance has created confusion. In the MS NOW member exclusive series, “Myth or Medicine,” internal medicine resident, @Joel Bervell, MD, looks into some of the most commonly asked questions around the shot.
One would think that paying for a vaccine would be less expensive than paying for hospitalization.

all these people saying they had no issue getting the shot, but I wasn't allowed to get the vaccine a month ago bc I didn't have any prior health conditions. Even after I told them that I work in a school, my local pharmacy wouldn't let me get it :(

In CA it was really hard last year to get it for my son. Then there was the west coast deal. We got it but it was about 2 months later than we wanted. I got it for both of us this year. I don’t give a shit. We both got it.

Now do one where you go through the list of things that make people considered vulnerable or immune compromised. Most people don’t know that they could be on this list. It’s more than just cancer or immunosuppressant treatments. It’s a wide range of things, including asthma, being overweight, depression, or anxiety, and much more. Anyone on that list should be getting the vaccine two times a year six months apart.

This lady is right, in the past, a panel of biased "experts" determined how much money the drug companies got to profit from fear mongering.
