@lizzierebuilds: Welcome to one of my biggest cleaning projects yet! An extreme basement cleanout and decluttering journey that started with a flooded basement and turned into something much bigger. Over the years, our unfinished basement had become a place where clutter accumulated, things were forgotten, and messes slowly grew into something that felt completely overwhelming. When water started coming into our basement, I knew I couldn’t keep putting this project off any longer. In this long form extreme cleaning video, I’m taking you through the messy, dirty, and sometimes overwhelming process of reclaiming our basement. From clearing out years of accumulated junk and clutter to deep cleaning filthy floors, mopping, organizing, removing old flooring, and tackling areas that hadn’t been properly cleaned in far too long. This isn’t one of those picture perfect cleaning transformations where everything magically comes together in a day. This is real life cleaning. The kind that takes time, energy, patience, and a whole lot of determination. If you’ve ever struggled with a messy home, overwhelming clutter, ADHD, executive dysfunction, or simply not knowing where to begin, I hope this video reminds you that you’re not alone. Sometimes a home doesn’t become overwhelming overnight. Sometimes it’s years of life happening, responsibilities piling up, things getting pushed aside, and surviving the day taking priority over organizing the space around you. And sometimes, getting your home back doesn’t start with a grand transformation. Sometimes it starts with picking up one thing, clearing one corner, or finally opening the door to a room you’ve been avoiding. Our ultimate goal is to transform this unfinished basement into a functional, comfortable space for our family, including an area where our kids can play, create, and make memories. But before we can fully move forward, we have one major obstacle to overcome. We need a French drain to address the water coming into our basement. Unfortunately, it’s an expensive project, and one we are working toward being able to afford. That’s where you come in! You don’t have to spend a single penny to make a difference. Your time, encouragement, and engagement mean more than you know. My goal has never been to create a perfect home. It’s to create a home that works for our family. A place where my children can grow, play, learn, and feel comfortable. A place where the mess doesn’t dictate how we live our lives. So whether you’re here for extreme cleaning motivation, satisfying before and after transformations, basement decluttering, hoarder style cleaning, or just some company while you tackle your own overwhelming mess, I’m so glad you’re here. #extremecleaning #cleaningmotivation #decluttering #basementtransformation #cleaningtiktok

Watching the before, during and after all in one video really puts into perspective how much there really was. And people don’t realize that doing that kind of sweaty work with a mask on, is 100 times harder. Well done!

This was so satisfying. I am here for all the cleaning and slow and steady practical home improvements. I love that you are doing what little you can with what you have. When there is just so much struggle right now, your slow and steady progress is inspiring
