Shohei is too stubborn to be asked to sit tf out. In Mookie’s podcast, Muncy said Shohei likes to bat and is just naturally good at it, but he loooves to pitch. That boy would put steel plates on his knees if he could just to pitch in 2027. He still wants that Cy Young so bad I think.

If he pitches, it needs to be the 2nd half of the season. That way he can be fresh and healthy for the playoffs. He’s getting older, so I don’t know if it’s possible for him to pitch and be DH for a whole season and not get injured.

lol. The Padres nor Giants have the cash to pay Skubal. It's the Mets or Yankees. As far as Ohtani pitching again, his two time Tommy John arm won't last along with his knee problem. The Dodgers should lookat him as a middle inning relief pitcher. You lose his bat for the rest of the game, but that's a tradeoff. But he'll be 33 next year. Will his body last is the question.
