The remakes are better than the OG games. The originals are classics. I get why they’re loved. But everything about the remakes are better. The voices, the graphics, the story, the flow of the game, the game mechanics. I played OG resident evil. OG RE2 as well. Not better than the remakes.

One through nine are the main point sure there are some important games like code Veronica, but 5 to 9 are all modern enough to play and 2 to 4 all heavy makes sure one remake was made way before all the other ones and most people wouldn’t play it

Even back in the day there was a distinction between classic RE (1-CV) and action RE (4-6). But for the most part people acknowledged they were just different experiences and at least played them before expressing their preferences. Now we have these remakes out and and many are calling the old games "replaced" and "outdated" and they have ZERO experiential basis for saying these things. They are so quick to reduce games pieces of technology that linearly improve over time, as if fun has some sort of time limit on it.

What's crazy to me personally is the OG games are so damn short too. Not saying you have to like em or whatever but in a week or two you could put enough time to go through each OG game they're all like 2-4 hours max and have an actual opinion on it then regurgitating picky eater rhetoric.
