@jon.nowa: F1 Arcade in Boston's Seaport. Honest review 👇 This was the first F1 Arcade in the US, and it's packed with full-motion racing simulators that run on real Formula 1 tracks. We got there around 4pm on a Friday. A few large events had sections roped off, but there were still plenty of simulators open. Four of us raced for an hour in teams of two. Each race was 1 on 1, and whoever wasn't racing could hang out and watch. It cost $32 per person. There are 5 difficulty modes for different skill levels. I picked Pro, one step below the hardest, because I grew up on Mario Kart and Need for Speed and figured it'd be easy. I was very wrong. The guide line on the track turns green to go, yellow to slow down, and red to brake, and when it says brake, it means slam the brakes. After a couple of rounds I got the hang of it, but it was tough. They also have a full bar and food. We didn't eat, but the food going out to the events looked pretty good. I had a great time and wish I'd had more time to race. If they open one in the Bay Area, I'm definitely going back. US locations right now: Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Denver, and Atlanta, with Chicago on the way. There are also locations in the UK and one in Madrid. 📍 F1 Arcade, Seaport District, Boston, MA #f1arcade #boston #formula1 #seaport #bostonthingstodo
