i had a manager do this way too many times. it was one of the reasons I quit, that and for other reasons. You can't just switch an employee's schedual after they've already left and expect them to be a psychic; if anything, take a picture of it and send it to your employees after you post it. I know that's not how it 'works', and it's a shame it's not the case, but I wish workplaces weren't like this.

When my schedule was not consistent at jobs I worked. I always took a picture of the schedule because management is very good about changing schedules, without letting you know anything.

My job cancelled my shift an hour before my shift. I only realized on my way to work because I stopped somewhere and had to check my email for something else. I was literally on my way to work when I saw it. The scheduling manager has my phone number and didn’t bother letting me know not to come in

arbys was like this. they fired me within 2 weeks because I showed up 6 hours late. I was off that day the day before and got an email the morning of that the schedule changed.

Had a manager at taco bell who did that... Constantly. I get having to change the schedule sometimes, but once I noticed I said for them to call me when they change it. they didnt. it kept happening. I quit.
