I truly feel that part of the VS “magic “ was how hard it was to get there even if it was wrong & unhealthy. It meant you had to show not only your beauty but also that you were committed to VERY high (at times unrealistic) standards. You had to prove your dedication and 100% commitment. It’s kinda like if you can’t have dessert you want it more & if you get it it taste 100 times better haha I think it taught me so many lessons. Would I be able to do it now? I think not….because my priorities and vision for life have changed and the same motivation and desperation just wouldn’t be there . But back then, it was my WHOLE life, and I was so immersed in that fashion world reality…🙃 #modeling #vsshow #realtalk

Do you feel like it’s still the Super Bowl/best of the best with so many invitees vs actual casting? I was sad to see some OG’s who didn’t make it this year. It’s always inspiring to see how phenomenal you girls look during the show.

You know what rose is hard? Dead end jobs and corporate 9-5. They need to count their blessings and stop involving us. I would give up my life in a heartbeat to eat healthy and work out at the gym for the runway.

I am happy you are talking of this…. But I also think white women as a whole are the only ones who can change this “stick thin blonde” stereotype. If you people just decide to eat and raise daughters who eat and maintain their natural hair colour regardless of age and skin colour… the whole world need to work at accepting their natural skin colour and not try to fit into this ONE beauty ideal when we are all so different. It is so stupid. And as women I feel so disappointed that we compile by beauty standards that at most on children have. It’s really disappointing

It was my goal as a model. When I got my first agency one of the first things I did was start looking up the trainers that train the angels so that I could work with them and get in the best shape possible to up my chances. unfortunately back then I was under the height requirement so my dreams were kind of dashed there but I had never felt healthier than what I did doing their workouts and diets. But the diets I followed were from the trainers, Miranda, etc who did 3 meals a day and snacks
