I left my dad's ashes at the spot he always sat in his barn. That way we could yell at him when we found something that pisses us off while cleaning it out. Every once in a while you'd hear someone yell "Dammit Rick!" It was oddly therapeutic.

As someone who’s abusive father has passed away, please don’t let anyone tell you how you should be grieving, my grief came in all different directions and it’s a strange thing practically having to grieve your parent twice (the version they could’ve been and the version they were), I wish you guys well ❤️

My mom and dad didn't get along whilst they were married. My dad Passed away in 2015 and my sister had his ashes... My mum passed away in May this year. I have here ashes... A while back I asked my sister for some of my dads ashes and she wanted some of my moms ashes. I bought a nice glass bottle for my dads ashes now they are sharing a velvet bag and they haven't been so close on a lonnggggg time. [Tears of joy]

No, because if you’ve never had to do this, you don’t know how much the humor is needed because it SUCKS! We found a charm bracelet but with baby teeth and a framed magazine page of George Clooney to name the least traumatizing items.
