A 37-year-old Texas woman has been arrested after allegedly allowing a former doctor to sexually assault a young child at least ten times in exchange for prescription drugs. Police records in Smith County, Texas, show Alicia Evonne Sanchez, also known as Alicia Evonne Seguin, was arrested and charged with continuous sexual assault of a child younger than 14. Investigators allege that between 2019 and 2023, Sanchez repeatedly brought the young victim to the medical clinic of former physician Kenneth Donald Haygood. Sanchez allegedly remained inside the examination room while Haygood abused the child. Reports state the child cried and begged for the abuse to stop, only to be ignored or told that this was normal medical practice. In return for permitting the assaults, Haygood allegedly supplied Sanchez with prescription Adderall and other controlled substances. Haygood was previously jailed for eight years in 2025 on separate sexual assault charges. Sanchez is currently held in custody awaiting court proceedings.
