My ex financially, emotionally, and physically abused me for five years and when I just said "okay" and moved out without a second thought and got back on my feet alone, they got surrounded by MY family, MY friends, and got their whole life put back together by others. They continue to re-offend but get all of the grace in the world.

Experiencing this for the last 10 months. I blocked my father’s number after a phone call that completely broke me I have endured decades of mental, verbal and psychological abuse and neglect from him but he has somehow turned my adult sons against me because I’m not ready to talk to him so they have cut off contact with me because he’s having medical problems and they think is somehow ok for him to blame their 11 year old autistic brother’s fault for not calling his grandfather back so they don’t contact their brother either they act like we don’t exist. They are siding with my father and my brother who they witnessed physically, emotionally and mentally abuse me and my mom their beloved grandmother that has bee passed for 10 years.

Yes, that was the very day I walked away from my son and his family. I knew this was a lost cause! they were not going to accept the actual facts as to what happened, and as a classic narcissist my daughter-in-law decided I was the offender ...I glady will take that trophy... because I now have contentment and peace. when you know the truth you know and you're not willing to compromise it any longer.
