100% agree. I wish I did this years earlier. It literally slow down the production of oil on my face because I’m moisturize. I’m still shiny, but I’m OK with that.

As an oily skin girly, I avoided moisturizing products until about 3 years ago and my skin has never looked better!! I also truly think the cocokind barrier repair moisturizer is the best moisturizer (aside from the one I liked from tatcha but I’m too broke for that lol) and I go to bed like a glazed donut but it doesn’t make me get any oilier throughout the day at all and since I started using a retinal around the same time I never noticed any dryness or anything. We don’t have to do all of the excessive things but a good moisturizer is a non negotiable in my opinion 👏👏
