My thing is the only real value gained from AI in corporate environments is by the people at the top. Are companies going to keep the same amount developers and designers? Are they going to make employee workloads easier with all this time saved? Are they going to make products cheaper if they do cut labor? The answer is all no. It inevitably hurts the working class

In my first internship I worked for a relatively small business that had been making a piece of software for 3 years. So it was a big project. The year prior students made the app... There were emojis in the comments and the app was pretty bad. We had to solve tickets, the problem was that tickets had estimated times on them, and since the boss loved AI those times were based on how long it would take with AI. So we were basically forced to use it otherwise it would take way longer.
