@drilkes: After three successful seasons leading the JV program at Global Concepts, I felt ready to take the next step as a varsity head coach. I’m grateful to West Seneca East, Cleveland Hill, St. Francis, and Williamsville South for the opportunity to interview and share my vision. Every experience taught me something valuable. Accepting the varsity assistant position at St. Mary’s wasn’t an easy decision, but it was the right one for my growth. Special thanks to Coach Frank for seeing my vision and trusting me to lead our defensive preparation and identity. Also, much appreciation to Coach Adam for picking my brain, challenging my thinking, and helping prepare me for the next level. I’m extremely excited to compete in what I believe is the best league in WNY high school basketball, where the competition will push me to become a better coach every day. The goal of leading my own varsity program hasn’t changed. For now, it’s about learning, growing, competing, and helping St. Mary’s win. Not a setback, just another step towards the goal 🗡️
