I’ve only seen reviews of both, but it seems like this succeeds at something that Digger failed at. Both wanted to examine the source and point out that any narrator, even filmmakers or playwrights, is an unreliable narrator, but it seems like Digger decided to try to trick audiences into accepting this and YCSE shows it happening in real time and acknowledges it through a lens of inevitability and course-correction in a push-pull way.
