Send me an email, email in bio 📩 Products hanging on a rope beat any product grid. One SVG curve and a swing: 1. Draw the rope as one SVG path: M 0 40 Q 600 220 1200 40, viewBox 0 0 1200 300. 2. Hang the items along it with path.getPointAtLength(t * path.getTotalLength()), t from 0.15 to 0.85. 3. transform-origin: top center on each item, so it hangs from the clip, not the middle. 4. Hover swings it like a pendulum: rotate 6deg, -4deg, 2.5deg, -1deg, 0 over 1.2s. 5. The two neighbours swing at half that, 80ms later. That's what sells the shared rope. 6. Lift the hovered one 24px and grow its drop-shadow, so it looks picked up. 7. Let the rope sag under it: move the curve's middle point from 220 to 236 and back. 8. prefers-reduced-motion: keep the lift, skip the swing.
