@kokoxoxoafterdark: WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF Y’ALL EXISTENCE IN SPIRITUALITY IF Y’ALL REFUSE TO HELP THOSE WHO COME TO YOU SEEKING GENUINE HELP? Let’s talk about it. What is the purpose of claiming spiritual knowledge, spiritual gifts, titles, and connections if you turn your back on people who genuinely need guidance, healing, protection, or direction? Spirituality should not be a business built solely on collecting money, showing off titles, or making people believe you possess power that you are unwilling to use to help those in need. If someone comes to you in sincerity, struggling and searching for answers, and all you see is an opportunity to profit from their pain, then you need to examine your purpose. SPIRITUALITY IS A RESPONSIBILITY, NOT JUST A TITLE. You cannot claim to serve the spirits, the ancestors, the Orisa , or the divine and then show no compassion for the very people asking for help. Not everyone who comes to you is looking for a handout. Some people are hurting. Some are lost. Some need direction, wisdom, prayer, or simply someone willing to listen without judging them or reaching for their wallet. Nobody is saying that spiritual workers should not be compensated for their time, knowledge, or labor. But there is a difference between honoring your work and exploiting someone's desperation. If you cannot help, be honest. If you do not know, say so. If you are not the right person, direct them to someone who may be able to help. But please, stop using spirituality as a costume to impress people while abandoning the responsibility that comes with claiming to walk a spiritual path. Because the real question is this: Are you truly here to serve, or are you only here for what you can gain? Titles may impress people. Money may open doors. But character, compassion, integrity, and the way you treat people when they have nothing to offer you will always speak louder than your title. CHECK YOUR PURPOSE BEFORE YOU CLAIM YOUR POWER.
