Too many times people have taken my depression personally. I’ve literally heard “you’re pretending to be depressed so you can ignore me”. I can’t fuck with people who need to text everyday.

The only time this is a problem is if I constantly reached out (for months) , that person said nothing . Then FINALLY told me they were going through something 😭😭. Atp THEY cut off . Cause I’m not finna hound you about nothing 😭

Cut them ALL off!! Even the ones that are “emotionally supportive”, because they too, can help your situation be better, and won’t. They will watch you starve, and say they can’t help. Whole time they was the best person to help. Cut them all off!!

The thing with that is seeing them show up for other ppl and when I go thru things I never let that stop me from being present on smb life. I’ll be DEPRESSED and still a good friend. You absolutely have the choice to pick your friends and u surround yourself around

I'd get it if it was consistently happening with the person. But if they usually show up and are there for you. It's crazy to hold it over them for "that one time" Especially when they've communicated with you. That's when you should be there for them and show some empathy! Check in and make sure they don't isolate themselves
