I didnt like shinpei in that scene either, but he has great character development imo. obviously he’s not going to be the perfect Prince Charming at the start, the guy didn’t even know satoko and he’s literally an assassin what did people expect. I mean he is going to have a character development along the series, that’s what makes a show interesting, if he’s already perfect in episode one what are you even watching for
