I might not know your target audience’s math level but I think you spend an awful lot of time on simple math like fractions and simple arithmetic which moves the focus away from all the cool stuff you do! I think people should comment if they don’t understand how you simplified an equation. Otherwise great stuff and always fun problems you solve! 💪

x cant be 1 because then you get f(1) = 8 - f(0), but f(0) = -f(1 - 1/0) which is undefined.

The nice part is that this could be solved “for any value of 2”, except 0 and 1, obviously

x cant equal 1 becausw f(x)=8x-f(1-1/x) so if x equals 1 f(1)=8-f(0)=-f(1-(1/0))

You know from the start why x≠1, if you plug x=1 you get f(1)+f(0)=8x but f(0) ain't defined
