I feel like this needs to be a bigger more national story. "Home Depot kills local cats" should be the headline.

I was a contractor for Ford Motor Company and worked at an assembly plant for a while. They had at least 100 stray cats. People took care of them, they took care of any rodents or bugs that would come anywhere near the plant. Their maintenance department even made 4 huge litter boxes for them with roofs, food, bowls, and shelters. They were treated great. No one ever considered them a “nuisance”

Ugh this makes me so angry. Basically Home Depot hired a pest control company to get rid of the cats and then the company lied about the fate of the cats. Unfortunately we probably already know, but we need to hold them accountable. Keep fighting the good fight.

Got rid of my pro account with them. It's not gonna hurt them, but I will not support a company that acts this way.

I work for a factory in Indiana and we have counted 32 cats that have been born or dumped there in the past 3 years. Me and a few others feed them with our own money. We have called and asked for free spay and neuter and can’t get any response. They’re out in the weather in summer and winter.
