Yup. I used to be a judgy parent. My kids never had issues (that’s probably why I judged) however, I started working in a pediatric OT office. I never judge a parent again when I see a child misbehaving in public!!! You never know!!!! Have you thought of home schooling? They could sleep in, studies are much shorter than a classroom too since it’s just one on one vs one on 30

My 4 year old was diagnosed with ODD on Monday. He also has ADHD but they won’t diagnose him with that till he’s five or older.

Take him out of the school and homeschool him and let him go do stuff that he likes! In see so many kids like this and when they are outside and not cooped up they don’t have the pressure! People are fucking mean! Send him to work with his dad!!!

Yes, my son has ADHD and ODD. He’s currently being tested for autism and it’s like you never know what that family is going through to judge. Karma on them.

I like the saying… make your words, sweet because you never know when you have to eat them. When my older kids were little, we had a pastor who was always tough on our boys we homeschool and went to church so we were at church a lot one day that Pastor had a boy…. And that boy was rambunctious. The pastor finally had more grace for our children.

Nope! Preach it! People need to hear it! I Also have a behavior kiddo. Struggles are 95% at school. It is hard! I can not even begin to explain to these people the amount of time and energy we and him have put forth to get him to where he is today. Now we are in high school. Back at his regular school after behavioral school since 2nd grade (could have gone back in 6th but I kept him away cause I know how kids are). Kids AND parents are mean (and clueless). Is my child innocent- absolutely not. But damn! He has a reason. What is theirs? Drives. Me. Bonkers!
